Kitchen renovation among plans for Ottawa lottery winner

An Ottawa man already knows what he wants to do with $100,000 he won playing Encore.

Richard Nickerson, 63, said he wants to renovate his kitchen and pay off some bills with his winnings.

Nickerson matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the March 13 Lotto 6/49 draw.

“This is my first big win,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Hunt Club Road in Ottawa.
